About

Joey The Gent was born Joseph Delloiacono on March 2, 1991. His journey in life has been one of immense resilience and determination. As a foster child, he experienced the instability of bouncing between numerous homes, group homes, and institutions. At the age of 10, he was adopted into an abusive family, enduring both mental and physical abuse. By the time he reached 13, the regular physical abuse pushed him to seek refuge with friends and even spend nights on the streets.

Against all odds, Joey managed to graduate high school with honors, despite being homeless and resorting to selling drugs to survive. School became his sanctuary, where he would shower and utilize the facilities through his involvement in various sports. Although he had encountered legal troubles along the way, Joey transformed his life from that of a homeless kid to a prominent figure in the streets of CT.

After a life-changing experience in the streets, Joey made a pivotal decision to change the course of his life. He immersed himself in the world of cannabis cultivation, refining his craft in secrecy and operating within underground markets that had yet to legalize the plant. Over time, his dedication and expertise led him to establish and successfully run a legal medical cannabis company.

Joey's life story and the incredible obstacles he has overcome serve as the foundation for his music and storytelling. Through his artistry, he shares his personal triumphs and struggles, using his experiences as a source of inspiration and motivation. Joey The Gent's music delves deep into the human experience, shedding light on the complexities of life, love, and the pursuit of dreams. His raw and authentic storytelling resonates with audiences, capturing their hearts and minds, while inspiring them to rise above adversity and create their own paths to success.
